Nothing about this luminaire is l\u2019art pour l\u2019art, everything is highly functional: finely cut alabaster is translucent and therefore ideal for atmospheric illumination. The waist-like notches give structure to the proportions and prevent the straps from slipping, while the elongated shape ensures generous light distribution over tables.
